Small Breeds Farm

Small Breeds Farm Park is a family friendly attraction, providing a great day out for all ages of the family. For food and gifts our Tea Room and Gift Shop is the excellent place to grab a light bite to eat or do some shopping. We have one of the best owl collections on display in Europe and we are a fabulous place to explore and interact with a superb collection of friendly miniature and rare breed animals including Pygmy Goats, Golden Guernsey’s, miniature donkeys and horses and the smallest sheep breed in the world.

Hergest Ridge – Walk

Hergest Ridge straddles the English and Welsh border and is a favoured section of the Offa’s Dyke walk as well as a standalone highlight in any exploration of Herefordshire. If you start at the main carpark in Kington, climb a modest 400m up from the quaint town to enjoy spectacular 360 degrees views. 

Kington Golf Club

Kington Golf Club is the highest 18 hole golf course in England and is rated very highly in the latest Top 100 rankings by Golf World/Today’s Golfer and National Club Golfer magazines.

Although the course rises to 1284 ft above sea-level at its highest point, do not be deterred – the majority of any climbing is done in the car on the way to the Clubhouse!
